in the manga its not that far apart, there's just a lot of filler. its not all bad filler but it does make it hard to remember all the details in the main story.

I feel like Amuro will be exposed and get killed maybe. Like lately we have been seeing a lot about him and his childhood memories and the fact that RUM is actually the head of the police, means that with a little bit of research in the police academy then everything will be figured out. Also there're a lot of traitor hints in this ep so maybe Amuro's days in detective Conan is numbered.

All RUM suspects are somehow connected to the BO, like Wakasa being Asaca who met the actual RUM 17 years ago. That's why it seemed the two are on each other's neck in the camping case.

I don't have any theories considering Wakita but he's def sus. Like Gin, he sniffs out traitors in the BO maybe but that's only a guess and there's nothing to back it up other than that he mentioned traitor a lot after seeing Amuro.
